You are hunter and prey, a friend of the people and an enemy of tyrants. Your realm is the deep forest, amidst the birch and ancient oak. Falsely accused, only your wits and your longbow can save you from the gallows. You are an outlaw, an outcast, a hooded man… The Hooded Man is a roleplaying game of heroism and adventure that tells the stories of these rebels, be they members of Robin’s band, striking out against the Sheriff of Nottingham from their lair in Sherwood Forest, or an outlaw company of the players’ own creation. Characters are drawn from all walks of life, bringing their own talents, histories, and motives to the company, and the simple D6 dice-pool system keeps the focus on these heroes and their fight against tyranny and oppression.
