Advanced Chassis Design
The XRAY RX8 2026 features an all-updated chassis with optimized flex characteristics, lowered CG, and M4 screws throughout for quick, reliable assembly. A milled layout enables laydown servo mounting and lowered engine positioning, resulting in sharper handling, higher cornering speeds, and greater overall stability.
Lightweight Drivetrain Efficiency
Equipped with hard-coated 7075 T6 aluminum CVD axles, lightened outdrives, and a strategically reduced-mass 2-speed system, the RX8 maximizes acceleration and drivetrain efficiency. Ball-bearing equipped belt tensioners enhance reliability and eliminate belt skipping, while the redesigned Centax BBB clutch ensures consistent, long-lasting performance.
Precision Suspension & Steering
The RX8 integrates carbon fiber shock mounts, lighter downstop limiters, and revised shock geometry for improved stability and reduced unsprung weight. Typical xray build quality which is top notch. Beautiful printed manual in a time when other manufacturers are eliminating the paper manual from their kits. Thank you for that Xray!! This car is very durable and reliable on the track, and that is one of the reasons i run it. A-main carries some parts for it which is nice. Now, A-main are you listening? You need to carry the precut xtreme hyper diablo bodies for this car & the stiffeners. View all reviews
